Hamas: Spring is here again, time for some rocket barrages

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Hamas militants fired a barrage of rockets and mortar shells toward Israel on Tuesday and said they considered a five-month truce with Israel to have ended.

The rockets fell after nine Palestinians were killed in fighting with Israel over the weekend. Most of the dead were militants, but Palestinians said at least two civilians, including a 17-year-old girl, were killed.

Also in Gaza, an angry clan stormed the parliament building, carrying the body of a slain family member, to demand the killers be brought to justice.

Tuesday's rocket attack, which came on Israel's 59th Independence Day, caused no damage or injury. However, it marked the first time Hamas openly acknowledged firing shells toward Israel since agreeing to a cease-fire along the Gaza-Israel border in November.

My question here is, when did they ever stop with the rocket attacks? About those IDF soldiers that Hamas was supposed to have returned as part of the "Truce agreement"...Never returned.

Saddam was the Mousetrap in the house

The next time you are discussing the invasion of Iraq and someone uses the left's many talking points on the subject- "Saddam was no threat to the U.S." Send them this little story:

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package.

What food might this contain?" The mouse wondered -
he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.

Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning:

There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!"

The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr.Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it."

The mouse turned to the pig and told him, "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!"

The pig sympathized, but said, I am so very sorry, Mr.Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. Be assured you are in my prayers."

So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap alone.

That very night a sound was heard throughout the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.

The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it was a poisonous snake whose tail the trap had caught.

The snake bit the farmer's wife. The farmer rushed her to the hospital, and she returned home with a fever.

Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient.

But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock.

To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.

The farmer's wife did not get well; she died.

So many people came for her funeral, the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them. The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.

So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you, remember -- when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.

We are all involved in this journey called life. We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another.

Al Sharpton

The funny thing about Al Sharpton is that everyone knows he's a racist and they just don't care. For some reason he's given a pass to hate white folks. Here's some of his famous quotes:

“I am saying to the Jewish community and specifically to Abraham Foxman, that you come out and utter a word, accusatory remark against Reverend Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Donna Wilson, Reverend Shields, or Gary Byrd, we will boycott you and nobody loves money any more than the Jewish people.”

I'll tell you this, I've have numerous discussion with Afrocentrics and this is the same type of tripe they say. Sharpton and any of his ilk should be forced into sensitivity training and should have to pay some kind of tithe to the people they have hurt. I bet his blood would boil if he was forced into setting up a scholarship for Jewish children wishing to attend college.

ST. LOUIS — A man who was killed by police officers in downtown St. Louis Friday night after he rammed a police car and fired at them may have wanted to die in a "suicide by cop," police say.

The dead man was identified Saturday as Mohammad Khaled Alwadi, 21. He was a Jordanian immigrant who had been in this country less than a month.

Family members told police he had spoken of committing suicide, according to a statement issued by the St. Louis Police Department.

Police said Alwadi's address was in the 7600 block of Alabama Avenue. Reached by phone Saturday, Alwadi's brother declined to comment except to say, "He is a very nice person."

Jihadist Video Shows Boy Beheading Man

KILI FAQIRAN, Pakistan (AP) - The boy with the knife looks barely 12. In a high-pitched voice, he denounces the bound, blindfolded man before him as an American spy. Then he hacks off the captive's head to cries of "God is great!" and hoists it in triumph by the hair.
A video circulating in Pakistan records the grisly death of Ghulam Nabi, a Pakistani militant accused of betraying a top Taliban official who was killed in a December airstrike in Afghanistan.

An Associated Press reporter confirmed Nabi's identity by visiting his family in Kili Faqiran, their remote village in southwestern Pakistan.

The video, which was obtained by AP Television News in the border city of Peshawar on Tuesday, appears authentic and is unprecedented in jihadist propaganda because of the youth of the executioner.

Captions mention Mullah Dadullah, the Taliban's current top commander in southern Afghanistan, although he does not appear in the video. The soundtrack features songs praising Taliban supreme leader Mullah Omar and "Sheikh Osama"—an apparent reference to Osama bin Laden, who is suspected of hiding along the Afghan-Pakistan border.

The footage shows Nabi making what is described as a confession, being blindfolded with a checkered scarf.

"He is an American spy. Those who do this kind of thing will get this kind of fate," says his baby-faced executioner, who is not identified.

Ismail Ax

The Chicago Tribune reported that the note included a rambling list of grievances that railed against “rich kids,” “debauchery” and “deceitful charlatans” on campus. The paper also reported that Cho died with the words “Ismail Ax” in red ink on the inside of one of his arms.

It seems this is some reference to teaching of Islam:

Obrahim's son was named Ismail. I think there is more to this story than just some jilted kid angry at his "girlfriend" and "rich kids." Stay tuned...

I recently had a dream that British marines fought back, like their forefathers of old, against criminals and pirates. When taken captive, they proved defiant in their silence. When released, they talked to the tabloids with restraint and dignity, and accepted no recompense.

I dreamed that a kindred German government, which best knew the wages of appeasement, cut-off all trade credits to the outlaw Iranian mullahs — even as the European Union joined the Americans in refusing commerce with this Holocaust-denying, anti-Semitic, and thuggish regime.

NATO countries would then warn Iran that their next unprovoked attack on a vessel of a member nation would incite the entire alliance against them in a response that truly would be of a “disproportionate” nature.

In this apparition of mine, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, in Syria at the time, would lecture the Assad regime that there would be consequences to its serial murdering of democratic reformers in Lebanon, to fomenting war with Israel by means of its surrogates, and to sending terrorists to destroy the nascent constitutional government in Iraq.

She would add that the United States could never be friends with an illegitimate dictatorship that does its best to destroy the only three democracies in the region. And then our speaker would explain to Iran that a U.S. Congresswoman would never detour to Tehran to dialogue with a renegade government that had utterly ignored U.N. non-proliferation mandates and daily had the blood of Americans on its hands.

Al Sharpton

At a 1991 funeral of a Black child accidentally killed by an out-of-control
car driven by a Jew, Sharpton delivered this eulogy:

Talk about how Oppenheimer in South Africa sends diamonds straight to Tel Aviv and deals with the diamond merchants right here in Crown Heights.

Oppenheimer is the Jewish family that is a big player in the diamond industry, and Crown Heights is a Chassidic Jewish community, some of whose residents are in the diamond industry. It was clear he was denouncing the Jews. Sharpton spoke of how these "diamond merchants" had "the blood of innocent babies" on their hands and
exhorted the crowd to commit violence in the Crown Heights, Brooklyn Jewish
community:

If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.

Shouting, "No Justice, No Peace" with the funeral crowd, he incited riots in Crown Heights where a mob shouting, "Kill the Jews!" surrounded Jewish rabbinical student Yankel Rosenbaum and stabbed him to death.

* In 1995, Sharpton incited the shooting and arson murder of seven employees of Freddy's Fashion Mart. When the Black landlord raised the rent on Freddy's White (and Jewish) owner, he was forced to raise the rent on his Black subtenant. Sharpton organized a protest, at which he announced:

We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business.

Sharpton stood by and nodded in agreement as speakers and the crowd shouted: "Burn down the Jew store!" "We're going to see that this cracker suffers."

A protester shot four employees and set fire to Freddy's. It burnt to the ground and seven employees--all of them minorities--died.

Jackson and Sharpton. These are the new gods of race merchantry to which all others must apologize?

Next, the kettle will be apologizing to the pot. And the pot will say it's not enough.

New Textbook Reportedly Teaching Palestinian Kids to Fight Israel

A new textbook is teaching Palestinian kids to hate Israel and think of fighting Israelis as a holy Islamic duty, according to an Israeli media monitoring group.

The textbooks, published in December and distributed in the West Bank and Gaza to Palestinian students, deny Israel's existence and teach kids — many as young as 11 — that Palestinians are in the midst of a holy war between Muslims and their enemies, according to a Palestinian Media Watch report entitled "From nationalist battle to religious conflict."

The Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education said it was reviewing the issue, the organization reported..

"The books don't allow for a Palestinian child to accept Israel as a neighbor," Itamar Marcus, Palestinian Media Watch's director, told the Integrated Regional Information Networks (IRIN) of the United Nations. "When you define the conflict as a religious war you are no longer fighting for your own national identity or territory but for Islamic destiny. You have to accept either Islam or Israel," Marcus said.

Teachers drop the Holocaust to avoid offending Muslims

Schools are dropping the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils, a Governmentbacked study has revealed.

It found some teachers are reluctant to cover the atrocity for fear of upsetting students whose beliefs include Holocaust denial.

There is also resistance to tackling the 11th century Crusades - where Christians fought Muslim armies for control of Jerusalem - because lessons often contradict what is taught in local mosques.

The findings have prompted claims that some schools are using history 'as a vehicle for promoting political correctness'.

The study, funded by the Department for Education and Skills, looked into 'emotive and controversial' history teaching in primary and secondary schools.

It found some teachers are dropping courses covering the Holocaust at the earliest opportunity over fears Muslim pupils might express anti-Semitic and anti-Israel reactions in class.

The researchers gave the example of a secondary school in an unnamed northern city, which dropped the Holocaust as a subject for GCSE coursework.

The report said teachers feared confronting 'anti-Semitic sentiment and Holocaust denial among some Muslim pupils'.
