Hamas Claims Responsibility for Massacre at Jerusalem Seminary

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip claimed responsibility Friday for a militant attack on a Jerusalem rabbinical seminary that killed eight Israelis.

A Hamas radio presenter said the group's military wing had "promised a jolting response" to this week's violence in the Gaza Strip in which more than 120 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli military, many of them in the northern Gaza town Jebaliya.

The radio referred to the Jerusalem attack as "the fruits of what happened in Jebaliya" and called on believers to "celebrate this victory against the brutal enemy."

The announcement came as thousands of mourners marched in funeral processions for the dead students, Israel slapped a closure on the West Bank and an Israeli official indicated that fledgling peace talks with the Palestinians would go on despite the violence.

Israel will push ahead with talks "so as not to punish moderate Palestinians for actions by people who are not just our enemies but theirs as well," the Israeli official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the government had yet to make an official announcement.

Imam Abdul Alim Musa was born in Arkansas but grew up in Oakland, California during the 1960s—a time of intense social upheaval which produced groups like the Black Panthers and offshoots of the Nation of Islam. While being a supporter of the community’s revolutionary sentiment, Imam Musa became an active and very successful drug-dealer. His “street” background helps explain part of his appeal to inner-city youths and ex-convicts, with whom he can identify through personal experiences.

On October 31, 2001, Imam Musa, along with Imam Muhammad al-‘Asi and others, appeared at the National Press Club and, in a program which was televised by C-SPAN, disputed the official story of what happened on Sept. 11, 2001, implying that the U.S. government was involved based on its historical pattern of creating wars to benefit pre-conceived agendas. The re-airing of this program was cancelled due to complaints by the Anti-Defamation League.

To sum things up. As-Sabiqun in a movement based in Washington D.C. that promotes the destruction of the American Constitution to be replaced with Sharia Law, according to thier website by 2050. They also give fund to and promote terroism and terrorist groups like Hamas and Hizbullah. And lastly they condon suicide bombings. I wonder if I missed anything?

Shutting Down the e-Jihaders

Found a good quick read over at the Washington Times about bloggers that are tracking down terrorism sympathisers with websites and getting them shut down.

Ordinary Americans are tracking down U.S. Web sites used by al Qaeda and jihadi sympathizers and then using the Internet to persuade the service providers to snuff out the sites.

A perfect storm of complaints forced several ISPs to shut down Web sites just days before al Qaeda released a tape of Osama bin Laden in August, says Aaron Weisburd, director of the Society for Internet Research and host of the Web site Haganah.us. He released a list of 19 pro-jihad Web sites, some of which were shut down in August.

Last month a ran acrossed a website promoting sharia law, I'd assume it was promoting it in the US since the website was hosted at the University of Michigan.

Here's a link via Google cache.

Before being taken offline the site had over 58,000 visitors. The site was created by a gentleman named Luqman Abdul-Sabour, I guess he was a student at University of Michigan at one time. The site had link to a few propaganda leaflets including one about Hezbollah. So I sent an email to a few choice people at the University of Michigan:

Bosnian with Grenades Arrested Trying to Enter U.S. Embassy in Vienna

VIENNA, Austria — A man who tried to enter the U.S. Embassy in Vienna with a backpack that contained hand grenades, nails and Islamic literature was arrested Monday, Austrian authorities said.

The suspect was taken into police custody around after he was seen dropping the bag and fleeing on foot, Vienna police spokeswoman Michaela Raz said.
No one was injured, but police sealed off the neighborhood as a precaution and shut down or rerouted nearby bus and tramway lines.

The suspect was described only as a 42-year-old Bosnia native who now lives in the province of Lower Austria. Police said they made the arrest a short distance from the embassy building in a neighborhood where security is tight.

Raz said explosives experts were examining the contents of the backpack and would blow it up if deemed necessary.

It was unclear whether the suspect actually entered the embassy. Public broadcaster ORF reported that a metal detector sounded an alarm as the man was passing through security checks and that he fled immediately.

The nature of the Islamic material he allegedly was carrying was unclear.

WTF? Unclear? I'll tell you what. Send me an email and I'll tell you the nature of the material.

Blackwater Shooting

I've been reading accounts of the Blackwater shooting that happened in Mansour district of Baghdad on Sunday 9/16/07 - Something just doesn't sound right here.

Why would these people start firing on civilians unprovoked? Are we to assume that Blackwater hires monsters that love killing innocent civilians? From what I know, Blackwater hires former military personnel. These people are highly trained with clean records and clean military service. Why would they, all of a sudden turn into murderers? The didn't and they're not. What we are seeing here is a text book insurgency play. We've saw it last summer in the Israel Lebanon conflict. The terrorists hide in plain sight wearing civilian clothes. They fight from within crowds or women and children, they use them as shields. The when the soldiers return fire to defend themselves and a civilian is hit they point their fingers and say the soldiers (Israeli soldiers or Blackwater contractors in this cases) are targeting civilians. This is an old tactic and I'd be willing to bet, some of these "civilians" are actually terrorist/insurgents.

Like this guy, Hasan Jaber Salman (see picture above) he claims the contractors fired on civilian, unprovoked. He was shot in the back while he was fleeing in his car.

But Salman claims the attack was unprovoked.

"No one fired at them, they were not attacked by gunmen, they were not targeted by an explosion," he said.

Now he's suing Blackwater.

Okay here's where it gets weird. The same thing happened to his son in 2005.

The lawyer said he intends to sue Blackwater, which he already did in 2005 after his son was involved in a similar incident outside al-Muthana Air Base near Baghdad's international airport. That lawsuit has not yet been resolved, he said.

Here's the account of what allegedly happened to his son:

Laborer Abul-Raheem Amir said he was on his way to a job when the minibus he was in got caught in a traffic jam caused by an explosion.

"A security company called Blackwater, they got out and kept on firing randomly at people, starting with the people walking or working the street -- even the traffic policeman, even the people who work in the area," Amir said.

"People at first thought we were safe in the minibus, but when they realized they were not, they started getting out and went to other places to save themselves," he recounted. "Unfortunately that did not work. As they got out, people were shot and killed."

He said he tried to make a run for it after the driver and two women next to him on the minibus were shot.

"I ran about 50 meters [about 55 yards] and then was shot, the first bullet. Still I kept running, but the second bullet dropped me to the ground. ... It broke my bones, and the third one made me start crawling."

Some people helped get him off the street and away from the carnage. The shooting lasted for about a half-hour, and there were some 30 bodies in the street, he said.

"I remember people strewn on the streets, children, elderly, young men, elderly women. ... The street turned into the street of the dead, a graveyard," he said.

This Blackwater group must be a well honed civilian killing machine. They strike at kids, elderly and women with surgical precision. All that shooting and it's the only thing that they killed.

This little tid-bit screams of propaganda. If you listen to people like these guys Iraq is just a country full of innocent elderly women and children doing the right thing being all innocent and saving puppies puppies and crap.

By the way, for those of you that want to read the State Department's incident report on this, here is a link. I'll give you a quick rundown:

A Blackwater Security team was escorting a convoy of US State Department vehicles en route to a meeting in western Baghdad with United States Agency for International Development officials when a Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device exploded close to the meeting point.[46] The security team then evacuated the officials, however as the convoy passed through Nissor Square, between the Sunni controlled al-Mansour and al-Yarmukh neighborhoods, it was attacked. According to Blackwater VP Marty Strong, it was hit with "a large explosive device" and "repeated small arms fire" disabling one of the vehicles.

I guess small arms fire isn't provoking enough for Mr. Salman. I wonder how Mr. Salman would explain the disabled Blackwater vehicle? I bet he'd claim the shot it up themselves.

The State Department report states that eight to ten attackers then opened fire "from multiple nearby locations, with some aggressors dressed in civilian apparel and others in Iraqi police uniforms".

Like I said, straight from the play book. dress in civilian clothes, or if you can get them, Iraqi military uniforms. These people are sub-human. Anyone who fights and uses civilians, women or children as shields doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as normal folks.

Think your safe from the Mujahideen?

Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them....If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them.

Sure, you're safe. As long as you do 1 of three things.

1. Convert to Islam
2. If not, pay the "tax" The Jizya
3. Fight

What's your choice? I know what mine is. In the past, I have never been a big fan of war. Those days are gone. Actually, I'm looking forward to this one. I served during the Gulf War and I'm ready for this one.

U.S. Officials Analyzing Usama Bin Laden Video

CAIRO, Egypt — The U.S. government obtained a new video of Usama bin Laden before Al Qaeda could release it to the world to mark the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. Officials on Friday were analyzing the tape, which could contain the first new images of the Al Qaeda leader in three years.

Soon after Washington announced it had the video, all the Islamic militant Web sites that usually carry statements from Al Qaeda went down and were unaccessible, in an unprecedented shutdown.

The reason for the shutdown was not immediately known. Evan H. Kohlmann, a terrorism expert at globalterroralert.com, said he suspected it was the work of Al Qaeda itself, trying to find how the video leaked to U.S. officials.

Living in Fear of Dirty Looks and Stupid Song Lyrics

CNN is back to it's old tricks. The stroy is about Muslim woman who face dreaded attack of "dirty looks". These assailants even go as far as to change the lyrics of "The 12 Days of Christmas" .......gasp..."addressing her directly, sang "The 12 Days of Christmas" using insulting lyrics about terrorism and Osama bin Laden."

Muslim women: My headscarf is not a threat

(CNN) -- Last year at Christmastime, Rehan Seyam, a Muslim living in New Jersey, went to pick up some things at a local Wal-Mart. Seeing her distinctive traditional Muslim head covering called a "hijab," a man in the store, addressing her directly, sang "The 12 Days of Christmas" using insulting lyrics about terrorism and Osama bin Laden.

She was stunned.

"Do I look like a terrorist to you?" Seyam said she asked the man.

According to Seyam, the man replied, "What else does a terrorist look like?"

Such stories are not altogether uncommon for Muslim Americans. According to a recent poll by the Pew Research Center, 53 percent of Muslims living in America said it has become more difficult to be a Muslim in the United States since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Fifty-one percent said they are "very worried" or "somewhat worried" that women wearing the hijab are treated poorly, according to the poll.

Here's what we live in fear about everyday. I'll trade the below for dirty looks and stupid song lyrics any day.

What's Wrong With This Picture?

"Ahmed Bedier is the Executive Director of the Tampa Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Mr. Bedier is an expert on Islam, media relations, civil rights, hate crimes and the Mideast."

"Bedier repeated condemnations of violent extremist actions as not Islamic."

Sounds like this Bedier guy is a pretty moderate guy. Of course that's what he want's you to think. I mean, that's from the RoP playbook. Keep the kafirs in the dark about your true feelings and they will never catch on. What better way to wage war, sit in the midst of your enemy's lands and undermine its legal system at every chance you get. It's obvious this guy doesn't really condemn violence against infidels; if he did he would step up against every crime committed by his brothers and sisters in this country.

I believe silence is equal to approval. Mr. Bedier takes it one step further, when one of his brother's or sisters is accused of a crime he steps up to defend them, complete strangers. He defends them by inserting the notion that the police are corrupt or that the accused are victims of racial profiling. This alone proves the point that Mr. Bedier has no respect for our laws in this country and he believes that any crimes committed by his brothers or sisters are just. Until I hear him condemn these people, I will consider him, along with CAIR, a threat to the security of this country. The case against Ahmed Abda Sherf Mohamed and Yousef Samir Megahed:

"Ahmed Bedier, the executive director of a civil rights organization for Muslims in Tampa, criticized the arrest as racial profiling, an accusation South Carolina police refuted."

And who can forget convicted terror supporter Sami Al-Arian.

"Mr. Bedier said Judge Moody unfairly drew on evidence from the trial that was not stipulated to in Al-Arian's plea agreement. The judge faulted Al-Arian for writing a fund-raising letter to seek financial support for terrorist "operations," but Mr. Bedier noted that jurors found there was no conclusive evidence that Al-Arian ever sent the missive."

One of the questions dealt with the morality behind Al-Arian's connection to Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Fountain asked, "If he was associating with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, doesn't that seem immoral, in your opinion?" Bedier responded, "To a certain degree. Now, before 1995 there was nothing immoral about it."

About Bedier's statements, Joe Kaufman, Chairman of Americans Against Hate, said, "It is disgraceful for Ahmed Bedier to make light of a cold-blooded terrorist organization, as he has about the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It is offensive to the memories of all those that died at the hands of this monstrous group! It is equally offensive for Bedier to describe the acquittal of terrorist leader Sami Al-Arian in terms of 'jubilation.' Our organization calls on the news media to not seek quotes from this man, but to instead denounce his irresponsible statements."

It doesn't always have to talk like a duck to be a duck.

A Picture Says a Thousand Words

Browsing thru some yahoo news photos, I ran into the next few images. Alone, they tell a story, the Reuters story. But if you bundle them together, you see another story. Read the AP captions below.

Now the next set of Reuters photos clearly show this "stringer" seems to be imbeded with a Shi'ite militant group. Do they honeslty believe the coalition trrops should have to worry about a "stringer" that choses to run with the enemy during these bouts?

The bottom line is. Sure fine, run with these jihaders. But don't come compaling to the Coalition when one of your "stingers" gets hit. Like the old saying goes, you lie down with dogs, you're going to wake up with fleas.
